Chen Zhenglei was born in May 1949 in Chen Jiagou village, Wenxian County, Henan Province, the birthplace of Taijiquan. He is the 19th generation of Chen family, the 11th generation of Taiji boxing, the president of Wenxian Chen style Taijiquan Research Association, the chairman and head coach of Taiji boxing of Henan Chen Zhenglei Taiji Culture Co., Ltd., the deputy director of Henan Wushu Management Center, the vice chairman of Henan Wushu Association, and the senior coach of national Wushu. He is the national social sports instructor, member of Chinese Wushu Association, member of Chinese Sports Science Society, one of the "Ten Famous Wushu Masters" in contemporary China, and executive chairman of Chen style Taiji boxing Association in Henan Province.
