Chen Bin, born in December 1979 in Chen Jiagou Village, Wenxian County, Henan Province, is the 20th generation of the Chen style and the 12th direct descendent of Taiji Boxing. He acquired the seventh level of Chinese Wushu and the first level of national boxing. At the age of five, he started to practice with his father, Chen Zhenglei, who was proficient in boxing, weapons and Wushu theory.
