Chen Peiju

Chen Pei Ju. Han nationality, born in May 1965,is a member of the 20th generation of the Chen family from Chen Jiagou village. She has been practicing Chen style Taiji Boxing since 1970 with her father, Chen Li Xian, and was later taught and instructed by her aunt, Chen Li Qing. In 1985, he was recruited by the Wushu Team of the Henan Provincial General Police Force and won the third-class individual merit twice; in 1987, he entered the Wushu Department of the Beijing Institute of Physical Education (now Beijing University of Physical Education); in 1989, 1990 and 1991, he was the champion of Chen -style Taiji Boxing in the "National Wushu Taiji Boxing and Sword Championship" for three times; in 1991, he won the Medal of Honor for Sports Achievement of the Beijing Institute of Physical Education. Chen Peiju adheres to the requirements of Chen Xin’s lineage of "moral and artistic training, equal emphasis on literature and martial arts, strict inheritance, integration of theory and technique, and combination of practice and combat", and focuses on the study and research of Taiji Boxing-related culture and Taiji Boxing theory. In 2012, Chen Peiju was named as the representative inheritor of the third batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage projects by the Henan Provincial Department of Culture.
