Liang Yiquan

Liang Yiquan, born in 1931, is expert at Shaolin Yin-yang Kung Fu, small martial arts (an important internal skill of Shaolin Kung fu), longevity Kung Fu, authentic boxing weapons, art of attack and defense and other exercises and theories of Kung Fu. With profound foundation and superb attitude in Kung Fu, he was regarded as Shaolin Kung Fu master. He works currently as the expert of the Expert Committee, Wushu Research Institute of State General Administration of Sports, the vice chairman of Henan Wushu Association, a visiting professor of Wushu College of Henan University, and the honorary chairman of Shaolin Wushu Association in Dengfeng city. Besides, he is an expert enjoying the special allowance of the State Council, the national advanced individual of retired veteran cadres, an expert of the Expert Committee of the National Wushu Academy, a senior Wushu coach, the master of nine section of Chinese Wushu system, a recipient of commemorative medals for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China issued by the CPC Central Committee, the State Council and the Central Military Commission, the most influential figure in Chinese Wushu during the 30 years of reform and opening up, and the first batch of outstanding folk cultural heritage in Henan province. Apart from these, he has also published 29 papers and 5 books in Chinese and English versions named Research on Shaolin Wushu, Shaolin Boxing in Songshan and Shaolin Wushu Textbook. As a leading actor, he has filmed more than 10 movie and television plays such as The Legend of Shaolin Kung Fu and Shaolin Temple and Master Hai Deng (Hai Deng :1902 -1989).
