Wang Zongren, born in 1957, is a master of Shaolin Wushu. He is currently the Kung Fu consultant of Songshan Shaolin Temple, the president of Dengfeng Shaolin Wushu Association, and a member of Henan Province Wushu Artists Joint Working Committee. Since childhood, he practiced Shaolin Kung Fu with his uncle, Wang Dingyi, a famous Shaolin boxer. He is expert at Shaolin Changhuxinyimen Boxing, Seven-star Box¬ing, Cannon Boxing, Eeyebrow Level staff, Liuhe staff, Long-hilted Scimitar, Plum -Blossom Spear, etc. He has successively served as the principal of the Shaolin Wushu Hall in Nanzhaogou of Shaolin Temple, Shaolin Landun Wushu School of Dengfeng Public Security Bureau, and Songshan Shaolin Temple Wenwu College. He has participated in the National Traditional Wushu Exchange Conference, the National Wushu Hometown Wushu Competition, and the National Wushu Shaolin Boxing Competition for many times, demonstrated Shaolin traditional boxing weapons, and won a total of 16 gold medals and the "Best Technology Award". In 2014, he had the chance in the filming of Kung Fu Shaolin on CCTV Channel 9. In 2017, he was awarded the title of "Shaolin Wushu Master". In 2019, he was rated as "Outstanding Contributor in the 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up" in Henan Wushu. So far, he has made great contributions to the inheritance and development of Shaolin Kungfu.
