Zhang Dongwu

Zhang Dongwu, male, Han nationality, born in March 1970 in Wen County, Henan Province, ranks the 7th duan of Chinese Wushu, a first-level referee, a first-level boxer, one of the "Top Ten Boxers" at the International Taijiquan Annual Conference, and an ambassador for international Taijiquan cultural dissemination. He is currently the chairman of Henan Dongwu Tai Chi Culture Communication Co., Ltd., the director of Henan Dongwu Taijiquan Training Institute, the chief director of France Zhang Dongwu Tai Chi Academy, the general consultant of Australia Dongwu Tai Chi League, the vice chairman of Hong Kong Chen Style Tai Chi Association, the vice chairman of Henan Provincial Tai Chi Association, the vice chairman of Henan Social Sports Instructors Association, the part-time professor of the school of physical education of Zhengzhou University (Headquarters), the “Tai Chi Promotion Ambassador" appointed by Wen County Government, and one of the main creators of Chinese Wushu Duan System Chen Style Taijiquan. He has practiced Wushu since his childhood as the disciple of Mr. Chen zhenglei, a contemporary Taijiquan master. He is the 12th generation inheritor of Chen style Taijiquan. His Kung Fu is pure, his skills are comprehensive, his strength is cold, crisp, startled and elastic, expert at Tai Chi actual combat techniques. In December 2021, Zhang Dongwu was named the representative inheritor of the fifth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage projects in Henan Province by the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
