Wang Zhantong

Wang Zhantong, born in 1971, graduated from Wuhan Sports of University. At present, he is the director of the International Department of Shaolin Temple Wushu Museum in Songshan, Henan Province, the vice chairman of Zhengzhou Wushu Association, and the principal and head coach of Songshan Shaolin Jingwu School. Since childhood, he practiced Wushu with his father Wang Chaofan, and later practiced Shaolin Kung Fu with Master Su Yun of the Shaolin Temple. In 1988, Wang won the first place in the 52kg class of Free Combat and the first place in Wushu Shaolin Boxing at China International Shaolin Wushu Festival . He has been invited to visit France, Canada, the United States and other places for Wushu teaching and Wushu performance exchanges. In 2012, he cooperated with Lingling Circus, one of the world's three major circuses, for a two-and-a-half-year tour. In addition, he has led disciples to visit more than 70 countries for teaching Wushu performances and Wushu cultural exchanges, such as the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mauritius, making great contributions to the inheritance of Chinese Wushu culture, understanding the cultural connotation of Chinese Wushu, and to introduce Chinese Wushu culture to the world.
