Chen Bing

Chen Bing was born in March 1971 in Chen Jiagou Village, the birthplace of Taiji Boxing. In 1976, he practiced Chen style Taiji Boxing with his aunt Chen Yongfang, uncle Chen Xiaoxing and uncle Chen Xiaowang. From 1983 to 1991, he has studied and trained in Chen Jiagou Village Taiji Boxing School under the lead of Chen Xiaowang and Chen Xiaoxing. From 1992 to 1996, he taught at Chen Jiagou Village Taiji Boxing School. From 1995 to 1997, he won five championships of Taiji Boxing, Pushing Hands and All-round Taiji Boxing in Henan Traditional Wushu Championships. In 1996, he won the National Wushu Taiji Boxing, Sword, Pushing Hand Championship in 70kg in Ji‘an, Jiangxi Province. In 2007, he prepared to build Chen Jiagou Village International Taiji Academy. As of October 2021, 503 entry-level disciples and more than 100,000 students at home and abroad were taught there. There are 120 Taiji Boxing halls and counseling stations in China, and 30 Chen Bing Taiji Academies in 20 countries such as the United States, Britain, Brazil and Germany. In December 2021, Chen Bing was named the representative inheritor of the fifth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage projects in Henan Province by the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
