Wang Xi’an

He was born in July 1944 in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province and received a junior college degree. In 1945, he returned to Chen Jiagou Village, Wenxian County, Henan Province with his father. In 1958, Chen Zhaopi, the 18th generation successor of Chen style Taiji Boxing, returned to his hometown, and Wang Xi’an followed him to practice the old Taiji Boxing routines and instruments. Wang Xi’an’s Taiji Boxing routine drill is not only as hard as a dragon rising from the deep and a tiger roaring in the mountains and forests, but also as soft as a continuous spring rain moistening things silently, magnificent, changeful and  beautiful. His skill of attack and defense is superb. With only a shake, his movement is quick, fierce, agile, crisp and powerful. He is praised as one of the "Four Buddha’s Warrior Attendants" of Chen -style Taiji Boxing by Chinese Wushu circles. It is deeply loved and respected by the majority of Taiji Boxing enthusiasts and practitioners.
