Wang Songwei is the master of 7th section of Chinese Wushu system, referee of the International Grade A Wushu Free Combat, member of the Youth and School Committee of the Chinese Wushu Association, Deputy Director of the Adjudication Committee of Henan Wushu Association, and Chief Judge of the Adjudication Panel of the TV program Wu Lin Feng. He has been practicing Shaolin Wushu since childhood. In 1980, he was recruited by Henan Provincial Sports Bureau as a professional Shaolin Wushu athlete and engaged in Shaolin Wushu professional training. Under the personal coaching, edification and guidance of Mr. Liang Yiquan, "China's top-10 Wushu masters and Shaolin masters", he has achieved remarkable results in Shaolin Wushu coaching and training, sports performance and theoretical research. Meanwhile, he had a further study in China Wushu School of Beijing Sport University and studied at the Wushu College of Henan University.
