Chen Zhaosen

Chen was born on October 18, 1957 at the village of Chen Jiagou, Wen County, Henan Province, the birthplace of Taiji Boxing. Since childhood, he has been practicing the weapons of Taiji Boxing, internal Kung Fu descended from his family, pushing hands, attack and defense with his father, Chen Shangquan, and uncle, Chen Shangxiao. He is proficient in Chen style traditional Taiji Boxing, health care Kung Fu, pushing hands, Taiji long and short weapons, etc. His Chunqiu Dagger is one of his best skill, which is known as the "King of Dagger". From 1983 to 2000, he was the head coach and headmaster of the Chen Jiagou village Taiji Boxing School; from 1983 till now, he has led many teams as coaches and participated in Wushu competitions at all levels, winning hundreds of gold and silver medals; in 1988, he participated in the first National Agricultural Games and won an excellent prize. He was awarded the only one of the "Top Ten Athletes" in Wushu category in the various events of the Games, and was personally received by national leaders Tian Jiyun and Li Lanqing. He was awarded the title of "Henan Province First-Level Boxing Master", "Henan Province Excellent Wushu Supervisor" and "Chen Style Taiji Boxing Top 10 Boxing Master" contributing a lot to the world of Taiji Boxing.
